Shui Ping type Teapot - red - 130 ml seal
red Teapot 130ml £ 45.00

Handcrafted from clay by Master Potter Wang in Taiwan, this high, quality small rear-handled teapot has a capacity of 130ml (approx. two Gong Fu style cups of tea).

Each teapot is carefully hand-produced in an atelier in Yingge Town to tight quality control. This teapot is offered in red pottery and comes with an in-built tea-strainer. The unremovable strainer has perforations and is an integral part of the teapot. Having the strainer on the wall/ spout means that there is more room in the teapot for the leaves to unfurl and brew.

The angle of the spout is carefully designed so that no drips will occur when pouring.

Beautiful, elegant and traditional in design, these high quality pottery teapots will be a pleasure to use for years to come.

This is a fabulous small teapot. Very elegant in appearance and with a wonderful drip free fast pour but which is easy to control using the hole in the top of the lid. I liked it so much that I bought two more to give to my children.
