Grown in the mountainous area of Nantou county, this top quality tea is one of the finest Taiwanese Oolong teas, and attributes it's special qualities to the foggy climate. Harvested in the winter to give depth of flavour and produced by hand in the traditional Chinese Gongfu way, the hand picked leaves are rolled to form a distinctive and curly semi ball.

A medium roasted, semi-fermented tea, Tung Ting offers a deliciously mild, sweet, fresh, creamy tasting tea with undertones of honey and nectar and a brilliant golden yellow colour.

Well known for aiding digestion, this tea is perfect for drinking after a meal and has a rich, soft, buttery, sweet aftertaste.

Tung Ting or Dong Ding means "Frozen Summit", which is the mountain in Taiwan on which the original tea plants were grown.

Our tea is sold in multiple packs of 50g.

I think your service - sales and customer - has been excellent and I only wish other firms I dealt with online were half as good. So thank you.

Let me start by saying how pleased I was with delivery. It was very fast and the packaging solid. Now to the tea! I brewed mine in a small (120 ml) yixing teapot. 5grms of tea water at 90°c. This is the best dong ding I have tasted yet. Very sweet, floral taste and wonderfull viscous mouthfeel. I got so many steeps from this tea that I lost count. The aftertaste lasted literally for hours and the cha qi (energy) was wonderfully relaxing.
This is becoming ky fave afternoon tea. If you haven't tried tung ting oolong I urge you to try this one. You wont get better quality at this price.
