One of China's most famous Oolong teas, our Iron Goddess (of Mercy) Tea is from the Anxi province. Each leaf resembles a tiny piece of green jade. The dark lightly oxidised green leaves are rolled into tight fists and it is processed in accordance with the traditional Iron Goddess tea making techniques. This traditional process gives a tea that has a lightly roasted, rich, fruity, charming orchid fragrance and taste.

When brewed the honey and orchid fragrance gives way to a light, sweet, sugar taste with a smooth texture to the tongue.

Our tea is sold in multiple packs of 50g.

Not found this brew for a long time, often Tie Guan Yin can be smoky . This brew is on the lighter greener side. One of my favourites .

A great tea with lovely vegetal notes balanced with a floral sweetness overall a great tea at a great price.

Lovely tea and good service
Thank you

Very nice Oolong tea with a well balanced sweet and floral natural taste. The quality of the batch I received was excellent; the leaves are large and consistent in size. I drink it "the Chinese way" i.e. 4/5 grams of tea in a mug tea strainer with short infusions. This gives 6 infusions or more. Will buy it again.

Perfect oolong for everyday drinking at a sensible price. Not over the top in taste and fragrance and a nice golden colour.
As usual, good prompt service from Abbytea.

Gorgeous flavour and fragrance, subtle but deep, gently stimulating, a refined tea of fortitude indeed. I can sense the plantation from whence it was grown, beautifully serene. Superb service too, personable and professional, thank you.

This is a very good tea and I will be ordering more. Its not as overpowering as some of the Oolong teas and the flower notes come through nicely. Brewed at 90c it takes on a lovely pale golden colour which in a glass cup I find very satisfying. This tea could become a regular in my tea brewing.

I don't like herbal teas but I like this one, Iron Goddess of Mercy. Did get the tastes as described though. Would have liked brewing instructions to be included. Will reorder. Quick delivery.

Buying your Long Jing tea was the best thing I've done! No more ghastly tea bags for me!!!
